Greetings! Here is a quick little post to update you on what's been going on the past few weeks and what's coming up for us. First of all, we LOVE our little addition to the family! Isabelle (or Izzy, as we call her) is the sweetest baby and has brought such happiness to our family. She sleeps well, eats well, is patient, isn't a screamer...she's just wonderful! Second, we are moving this weekend. Mark is going to another office to continue selling for Platinum Protection until the middle of October. We are headed to Dallas, TX. Mark has family in the area so we are excited to be able to spend a few weeks near them. After Dallas, the plan is to head back to Utah. Once we get to Dallas I will try to post another update.

Isabelle/ bella/ sadie/??? was born today at 1:38 p.m. She weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and she was 19.5 inches. She is absolutely DARLING! Emily and the baby are doing well and will hopefully be home by friday. They still dont know what they are going to name her. Now that we all know what she looks like maybe you guys should help them out by leaving your fav name:)

I went in for one last ultrasound this morning to see if the baby had flipped and she didn't (which I already knew she hadn't but the doctor wanted to make sure) so I am going in for a c-section tomorrow at 1pm. We will try to post the news of the little ones arrival as soon as we can.

I went to the doctor this morning (yes, my actual doctor) and he checked the baby to see if she had switched positions but she is still breech. We went over all of my options - turning the baby, breech delivery or c-section. I am not comfortable with turning the baby (success rate is not very good and the risks are too high) or a breech delivery. Like I mentioned before, I've had a baby in the NICU before and I would like to avoid that as much as possible this time around. So that leaves me with getting a scheduled c-section. I tried to ask if we could do it this Sunday, Aug. 10, because I will be over 39 weeks and that's Mark's only day off but apparently the hospital doesn't do scheduled c-sections on Sundays. I am pretty disappointed by this news but what can I do? The new plan is to go back on Monday to see the doctor and he will check to see if she is still breech and if she is then he will set up a c-section for Tuesday or Wednesday. Maybe I'll go into labor before then...
