It's a Girl

Today we went in for our ultrasound and were surprised to find out that we're expecting a girl. I know that sounds funny but we had convinced ourselves (well I had anyway) that it was a boy. Silly me! The baby was pretty much in a ball at the beginning of the ultrasound so we pushed on her a bit and got her to move around so that we could get some better pictures. The kids came with us and were excited to see their little sister, especially Liv. She measured within a day of my due date so no change there. After the appointment, I went home and went through all of Liv's old baby clothes so that I could pack some away for the move. It was exciting to see such small little outfits and imagine the baby in them. Oh, and sorry about the little pictures of the woman in the bottom right corners of the ultrasound pics...I can't remove them but I think they are kind of funny anyway.

Easter

We spent Easter weekend up at my folk's house. We had a great time! Thanks Mom! My grandparents and aunt came over for dinner on Sunday as well. The kids made Easter eggs before we left and had a blast doing it.

18 weeks, 5 days

My appointment went very well today. The doctor had to chase the little one around to find the heartbeat, he/she was moving and kicking a lot today. The ultrasound is set for Wednesday the 26th. I am very excited! This was my last appointment with my doctor here in Cedar since we will be moving in two weeks. That makes me a little sad but hopefully we will find an equally great doctor near our new home.

Zoo

A few days ago we were in Salt Lake City and it was a beautiful day so we took the kids to the Zoo. We all had a great time! A few of the animals were still inside for the winter but we were able to see the elephants, penguins, cougars and monkeys...a few of our favorites.
