Last week Mark wasn't home, I wasn't feeling good and the kids were complaining about everything that we had in the house for dinner. I finally pulled a bag of Ramen out of the cabinet and said that we were going to have that for dinner and I didn't want to hear anymore whining about it. As it turns out, Ethan's favorite meal is now Ramen. All through dinner he kept saying, "This is the best dinner ever!" and repeated over and over, "This is SO good!" At the end of dinner, I received the biggest compliment from him when he said that I was the "best mom in the world" because I had made Ramen. He makes me laugh! He now asks for Ramen just about everyday and makes sure that when we go to the grocery store I have picked up a few more bags. It's the little things in life, right?

I had my second doctor's appointment yesterday. It was a very quick and basic visit but, as always, I loved hearing the heartbeat. It was beating at 153 beats a minute. That's just amazing to me! I have been feeling better thanks to some anti-nausea meds that my Dr. gave me at my last visit and I am now starting to feel pregnant...instead of just sick and fat. At my next appointment we will schedule a time to have the ultrasound done which is always a lot of fun and something to look forward to.
By the way, Ethan took this picture. Talented little man! I had to change the picture from the previous one to this one because the other one wasn't loading.

Today we took the kids down to St. George, where it was a glorious 60 degrees, to the family fun center. We had a blast! The kids drove the kiddie karts (Liv had a little help from Mark) and then we all played mini golf together. Ethan was a good little putter and stuck with it but Liv soon found other ways to entertain herself with the club. It was a great day. I can't wait for the weather to clear up here in town so that we can do more outside activities closer to home.

So when I get pregnant, like every other woman out there, I get cravings for things that I don't normally eat a lot of or at all. With Ethan I ate a lot of red meat and pizza. With Liv I ate anything chocolate. This time around it seems that I like, most recently, cottage cheese. I've never been a huge fan of cottage cheese and now I can't get enough of it. Mark claims he will literally get sick at the very smell of cottage cheese so I have to stay away from him while eating it...who's the pregnant one here again? It never ceases to amaze me what pregnancy will make a girl do.
