Sledding

Uncle David and Aunt Lis bought the kids a sled for Christmas so they, along with Mark, had to go test it out. They had a blast! Liv was a little scared but in the end admitted that she had fun.

We Are Family

On Sunday, Dec. 23, my sister blessed her baby in my parent's ward and after church my mom insisted that we all take a family picture since we were dressed up...something that rarely happens.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from the Williams! I wasn't able to send out Christmas cards this year so I hope this little post is okay. We have a little announcement to make though - We are expecting our third baby! I am due in August. We are very excited and the kids can't wait for a little brother or sister.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Stitches

Today while playing with Ethan, Liv fell (or was pushed, we aren't sure) onto the corner of a wall and cracked her forehead open. We headed over to Alta View Hospital (we are at my folk's house) and she received five stitches. She handled the whole thing very well and the ER staff gave her a purple teddy bear which has become her new best friend.

Mexican Riviera

Here are a few highlights from our cruise down to Mexico!

We went out on a catamaran in Puerto Vallarta and went snorkeling and snuba diving (similar to scuba diving). We saw humpback whales while making our way out to the islands. Very cool!

This is a beach we played on in Puerto Vallarta.

This little boy was playing the drums with his dad on the pier in Cabo San Lucas.

We traveled around on Stone Island in Mazatlan on ATVs.

View of Downtown Mazatlan from our ship.

Mark became pretty good (I, however, was horrible!) at shuffle board on the days we spent on the ship.

Mark also spent time climbing the wall on the ship.

We had a great time on our cruise and look forward to doing it again very soon!

Christmas Tree

So we finally pulled the tree out of storage (yes, we have a fake tree) and the kids and I had a great time decorating it. Of course, Liv also found a few other ways to use the ornaments.

Cruise Blog

For some reason my cruise blog isn't functioning properly. I will have it up and running as soon as I figure out what's wrong with it.

Cruise Buddies

Amy & John

Melissa & Richard

While on our cruise we made some new friends who were also there because they worked for Platinum Protection. Richard worked for the office in Houston and John worked for the office in Milwaukee. We had dinner together every night to catch up on all the adventures that took place during our separate excursions at each stop. We also had lots of fun hanging out in the casino watching the high rollers and every now and then pretending that we were high rollers ourselves.

Evan & Joe

I have another update about my siblings. My youngest brothers, Evan and Joe, have made the basketball team at Jordan High School in Sandy, UT. If you look at the picture, they are numbers 5 and 20. This will be the first year since Cameron was on the team (over 5 years ago at least) that I won't be able to make most of their games. It's always so much fun to go watch them play.

Beckham Brown

For those of you who know my sister, I just wanted to post some news about her new baby. Beckham Lee Brown was born today, November 19. He was 6lbs 5oz and 21 inches long. Laura says that he is bald but has beautiful eyes. My parents are flying out there (she lives in PA) next week to visit and help out. Laura's daughter, Tessa, is almost 2.

Greetings

After many attempts at making a family blog I have finally managed to do it. Hooray! Hopefully this will help us keep in touch with all of you, our friends and family, a little better than in the past. We have been moving around a lot and dealing with many changes and it's hard to keep everyone updated.
We are currently in Cedar City, Utah. Mark's family lives here and we thought it would be good to live near them for a bit since we have spent most of our married life up in Northern Utah closer to my family. Grandma Janie has been helping Ethan learn how to read since we've been here which has opened up a whole new world for Ethan. Janie is a school teacher and has her Masters in reading. We have decided to keep Ethan at home for school for now so we are grateful for all of the resources in our own family. Liv is Liv. She is 3 going on 16. Heaven help me! She loves everything about being a girl - lip gloss, brushing her hair and painting her nails. She is extremely independent and quite the artist. Mark and I have now been married for almost 7 years. Every year just gets better and better. Mark is currently working construction up in Brian Head, UT building million dollar condos and I am still at home with the kids trying to hold down the fort. It's a simple but very happy life. I will do my best to post a few pictures with more updates very soon.
